A SAHM and an Adult Student, easy right?

Wrong, soooo very wrong. For those of you that do not personally know me lets give a little background. I went into a 4 year school right out of high school (not my best decision given how much debt I am in now) for Art Education. Low and behold I did not think about how when you go for teaching that last year of school require you to student teach (I knew this but for some reason thought it would be fine and that I would figure it out), that you cant have a full time job.
Now I am not saying that I came from a poor family, but my single mother did not make enough to cover my 4 year private school (because when choosing a school I didn't factor how much it was going to cost because duh, financial aid would cover it all! BTW it doesn't.....not even for a girl from a single parent home, thanks to the Government official who decided that). So while in my first 3 years I borrowed from family, took any financial aid, and worked as much as I could. I rarely ate out, only ate the crappy dinning hall food (I limited my meal plan to lower total costs through the school) and ate soooo much ramen that for years after I stopped going to college, the thought of ramen made me nauseous. And guess what, I still barely made the payment.
Skip to the prospect of year 4, well you can't have a job and student teach and still take classes. And if you can, its a night job or its such little hours it cost me more in gas than I would make to do it. Was there a way around it? Probably. Was my 21yr old brain able to figure it out? NOPE! So now I am 28 and going back to school. With a kid whose almost 2. Easy....right? (send help!!!!)
No no no ladies and gentleman. It is not. Have you ever tried to focus on accounting homework while your toddler screams because you wont give him the calculator? Or how about doing a Zoom class meeting with you kid screaming about how he doesn't want to eat? And my all time favorite, your toddler getting ahold of your homework that you need to scan and upload and drawing all over it with the same black pen so you have to start the 2 hour math equations over again. Its delightful.........
Now some may say well why don't you do it while he is napping, or when he goes to sleep at night! HA, just HA. That is the ideal time to do everything and let me tell you, cleaning my house so that I'm not staring at a garbage dump while doing homework is higher on the priority list. Have you tried to focus on homework when you can barely walk through the living room thanks to toys everywhere? Or how about trying to get a "study snack" and realizing all of your dishes are dirty? And for those who know, trying to clean when the kiddo is awake is a nightmare. Anything I put away draws his attention to it and he drags it back out. Its super counterproductive.
But here I am, writing this when I should be doing homework. Why? Because if I see another thing about accounting or math or marketing I may walk into traffic. I need a tutor, the beach and a stiff drink. Definitely not in that order....
