The Adventure Challenge

Alright ya'll, have you heard of this? It's essentially a scratch off date night book that you and your partner do! I have seen this everywhere on Facebook and thought about getting it, but thought that it was too much and that there was no way my SO would be as into it as I was! Well low and behold, earlier today my SO said I had a "gift" waiting for me on the front porch. I go and open it up and this was it!

If you don't know what these are about, basically there are date night activities that are hidden under a "scratch off" layer so you won't know exactly what activity you are doing until you scratch it off. The rules? You must do that date night when you scratch it (no picksies choosies!) and you take a photo of you and your partner and write something up about the date! Each activity has information around it like and estimated cost of the date, how long it will take you and the best time to do the date! It also lists "hints" around the scratch off box for things like if it will take place at home or outdoors, if you will need to buy supplies, if you are going to need a baby sitter etc! How perfect right!

I looked them up and the starting cost is $39.99, pretty reasonable for 50 date night ideas. Honestly its a chore to go on dates because that involves actually thinking about something to do. And as any adult knows, coming up with something as simple as what to cook for dinner gets old, and dates are the same! Plus I am excited for the "fun" we are going to have doing something that we didn't have to fight to come to an agreement on! (We famously have the idc what do you want to do back and forth all the time!)

I am super excited to start this book and already have resisted the urge to scratch off all the squares just to read them! Here's to starting this adventure of "blind" date nights!!
